The Point Super Charging provides a maximum output power of 60 kW. The charging stations use DC charging technology, so only vehicles with the CCS2 standard plug can use the Charging Service.

No. Payment can only be settled through The Point App using the credit card that is bound to your account or redeemed for bonus points.
7. How do I pay the charging fee?
The charging fee must be paid through the credit card bound with the Auto Payment Service in The Point App. Members also can redeem charging with points.
8. How long do I have to unplug the charger and move the vehicle away from the EV dedicated parking spaces if I want to avoid paying the overdue fine?
After charging is complete, there will be a five-minute grace period to unplug the charger and move the vehicle away from the EV parking space. The overdue fine will be charged if the customer is unable to do so.
9. What is the overdue fine?
In order to optimise use of the Charging Service, customers have to unplug the charger and move the vehicle away from the EV parking space within a dedicated grace period after the charging service has stopped by using The Point App or because of the charging station (i.e. the battery is full and can’t continue charging). After that, there is an overdue fine of HK$5 per minute, which must be settled through The Point App with credit card that is bound to your account.
10. Does the Charging Service automatically stop supplying electricity after the maximum usage limit, whether the battery is 100% full or not?
The service will automatically stop whether the battery is 100% full or not, and notify the stop by The Point app push message. The charging session per usage is varied to the time period. Please read Terms and Conditions for details.
11. If the battery cannot continue to be charged due to the 100% full battery or other charging problems, will the system automatically stop power supply?
Under the circumstances of unsuccessful charging, the system will stop it automacially with a push notificiation sent through The Point App. Customer must unplug the charger and leave the EV Charging Spaces under the stated time period on The Point App.
Below calculation of the time period is for reference and the actual one shown in The Point App shall prevail.
Each 15 minutes represent 1 session ; 2 sessions for 30 minutes at most for each
Example 1
Stopped charging at 12minutes 45sec, customer will need to unplug and leave the EV Charging Space within 7 minutes (2 minutes of remaining time + 5 minutes of grace period)
Example 2
Stopped charging at 29minutes 45sec, customer will need to unplug and leave the EV Charging Space within 5 minutes (0 minutes of remaining time + 5 minutes of grace period)
12. What can I do if the process of starting charging show an error message, or connection issue?
You can try restarting The Point App and plug the charger in vehicle again. If the problem persists, you can call the customer service centre hotline displayed on the charging station for assistance.
13. Is there a limit on the free redemption of Super Charging using bonus points?
Yes, due to the increasing demand for using points to redeem charging services, in order to allow more members to enjoy the charging service, we have made service adjustments. Members can use points to redeem up to 6 charging transactions within 30 days (including the current day) (1 charging transaction refers to 1 complete charging process, which can include 1-3 15-minute charging sessions). After using points to redeem more than 6 charging transactions within 30 days, members can still use their bound credit card to settle for the charging service.
